I have previously received a grant from the Groesbeek-Assenbroek Foundation. Can I submit another application?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

Yes, you can submit an application every academic year.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Can some other person than a student counsellor write a recommendation letter?<\/h4><\/div>

No, Only if the application is accompanied by a letter from a university student counsellor, the application can be processed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

I am doing a second study. Can I submit an application?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

Yes, the board assesses whether a second study stands in the way of being awarded a grant. In principle, in case of a second study, no grants are awarded, but there are exceptions (for example, if someone is drawn by lot, if the second study connects to the first study or otherwise.<\/p>\n<\/div>

I am studying at a Hogeschool, but I am studying for a Masters Degree. Can I submit an application?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

No. A Master of Applied Sciences does not qualify as an education at a University in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<\/div>

No. Only studies completely followed at a University in the Netherlands qualify.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Is my donation to the Foundation taxed?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

No, the Groesbeek-Assenbroek Foundation is a public benefit organization (ANBI) and as a consequence, donations made to the foundation are not subject to gift tax.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Can I make a donation plan?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

Of course. If you want to make a donation every year, we can help you set up a tailor-made donation plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Do I have to notarize the donation?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

No. Only if a periodic donation is in place, it may be wise to have this registered by a notary public, but this is not an obligation. Special forms made available by the Dutch tax authorities can also be used.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Is the donation tax deductible for income tax purposes?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

If a periodic donation is made of minimal five years, the donation is fully tax deductible for income tax purposes provided certain conditions are met. Also if a onetime donation is made the donation can be deductible for income tax purposes, if the total of the donations in the tax year is between 1% and 10% of the taxable income and is higher than \u20ac 60.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

No, the Groesbeek-Assenbroek Foundation is a public benefit organization (ANBI) and as a consequence, donations made by the foundation to students are not subject to gift tax. The allowances are not subject to income tax for the students either.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Can I make more than one donation per year?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

Yes, for tax purposes all donations in one tax year are added up. No gift tax is due.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What is the best way to include the Groesbeek Assenbroekstichting in my last will and testament?<\/p><\/h4><\/div>

By making a bequest in your last will and testament, you can contribute to the Groesbeek-Assenbroek Foundation after passing away. We have extensive experience with this and can assist you in the best way to set this up, together with a notary public.<\/p>\n<\/div>
