Gift to students

The financial contribution of the GA Foundation is a gift to the students. Annually, approximately 50 students are granted a scholarship.

Origin of capital

The resources of the Foundation consist of income from the initial capital set aside at the time of incorporation, donations, inheritances, bequests and other voluntary contributions received.

Maximum contribution € 6.000

The maximum contribution per beneficiary per year amounts to € 6.000. Since its incorporation, the Foundation has been able to help several thousands of students.

Supervision by the board

The board ensures that the assets are invested solidly. The board members do not receive any compensation for their work.

In the academic year 2021-2022, an amount of €103,800 was awarded to 37 students. This is in line with previous years and also with expectations for the coming years. Like every year, the board has met twice a year.

Sometimes a lack of financial resources stands in the way of a successful study. This may be due to personal, administrative, physical or other circumstances.

Donating helps

Even for the most promising students, a lack of money can be an insurmountable block, which does not only lead to personal disappointment. It is also a loss from a social point of view if talent is not given the opportunity to develop.
